Yet again,
I suck.
Almost everyone on the VA web board
knows the debacle I got myself involved in. Why do I trust people with
information about myself?
Well no matter. But I can hear your
question dear reader/editor.
How does this relate to film?
It inspired me. This, I believe, may
be the inspiration for possibly one of my best ideas so far. It has
everything. Controversial topics, controversial characters and at the heart
of it, insanity.
I mean think of it. A guy like
myself. He fears he is being stalked on the net, and then...
Well, gotta give you some reason to
go see it in the theater.
Needless to say, its gonna suck hard.
However, I still think I can revise it into a decent idea. I once heard
Steven Spielberg say that what he thought were his best ideas that got shot
down usually once revised were better than the originals. Of course, I am
paraphrasing.
How often do you guys have a concept,
think it's the bee's knees, and then look at it in the light of day and
wonder, "What the hell was I thinking?" I have that, alot. i wrote an entire
script. Then I stuck it in a drawer. i found a few months later and looked
at it as if I had just found shit on the botom of my shoe, it was so bad.
This is one of those times, but
hopefully I will make something out of it. Maybe, if nothing else, it can be
my class project.
I think the idea hasn't been done
very well anyway. They almost never portray computers realistically. Maybe I
can make something, a cross between Blair Witch and Fatal Attraction.
Wish me luck folks, it should
interesting. Christ, taking a death threat and turning it into a movie, how
low class.
Speaking of class, mine starts on
Tuesday. I get to actually go to work at a TV station and everything. Should
