"The
Adventures of Buddy Christ and Crew"
- who cares who sent the paperAnd summer is upon us. Time for lemonade, baseball, or swimming. Or
for teenage males like myself, sleeping, video games, and masturbation. And
in my case, constant viewings of View Askew flicks. It was during one of
said viewing of Dogma that I realized how over-looked Buddy Christ is as a
potential character. Sure he's just a set-peice, but what would he be like
as a character? So after a few suggestions from the Big Board, I shattered
my summer work quota in about 2 days, and have thus produced one of my first
scripts: "The Adventures of Buddy Christ and Crew: Episode One". Basically
Jesus "Buddy" Christ and his friend, the lesser-known 13th black apostle
Rufus live life like normal people. But being who they are gets them into
some tricky situations with Buddy's new arch-enemy, famed comedian Sinbad.
Buddy and Rufus are confronted; hilarity ensues. Enjoy! I would love to hear
