Story
Time
Rob is an 18 year old male. He goes
to college at the University of Wisconsin and will be a sophomore this fall.
He is majoring in Communication Arts. Soon he will be moving into an
apartment with five other guys. He has some close friends, few enemies and
even a girlfriend. He has also had is share of nicknames (A Rob, Spooner,
monkey head, asshole).
SHAFTR is the 6 letters that Rob goes
underneath when he is online. SHAFTR isn't a person, just an original online
handle. It appears that SHAFTR is a webmaster at The Askew Crapper along
with having his own column, but the truth is…it is actually Rob doing all
this.
See, whenever 'SHAFTR' is online or
working on this site…time is detracted away from Rob. Rob is given a full 24
hrs of a day to do anything he wants…SHAFTR isn't given that luxury. He is
only given whatever amount of time Rob is willing to part with. Occasionally
that is a lot of time, sometimes Rob doesn't have anything else to do but be
online. There are times though when SHAFTR isn't given anytime. No, he
doesn't get to be online for a couple days; Rob doesn't give him any time. I
know this sounds horrible but sometimes, sometimes Rob has other stuff he
has to do.
End of Story Time
There have been a fairly large number
of you who want to see a few columns released each day instead of all of
them once a week. That just simply cannot be done. I would expect the
columns to be in by Sunday and the website will be updated early in the
week, most of the time Monday. If I am busy Monday and cannot get around to
doing it than it will be updated Tuesday. All of this talk about wanting a
few columns everyday has angered me and look what it made me do; I wasted my
column space ranting about it.
Anyways on a more positive note the
site seems to have a lot of support. Everyone appears to want to see it
succeed, and I think/hope it will.
Now, this ends my website rants
inside my column (unless you give me something else to rant about). I
shouldn't have done it in the first place but I was angry. I feel better
now, so things are alright. Also, before anyone decides to blame anything on
Kev about the site, only blame 50% on him, the other 50% of the blame lies
on me. In the weeks to come look for this column to deal more with Rob's
life and less about SHAFTR's fake existence.
