The basics:
Daniel Lutz was born in a quiet colony known as New Jersey in late February,
1983. After an unproductive early life, he moved to California,
changed his name to D-Raw, and began work on what would eventually become
Public Enemy's groundbreaking "Fear of a Black Planet." He soon
became the hottest commodity in the world of hip-hop since the cordless mic.
In the years that followed, D-Raw had a string of hits such as "Kill a Dumb
Cracka", "I'll Never Forget (Segregation)", and his only ballad "Get Back in
the Car and Shut Up, 'Fo I Slap You (A Love Song)".
However, after years of living on DJ Jazzy Jeff's couch, D-Raw had
an epiphany when he was finally exposed to a mirror at age fifteen and,
realizing he was white, fled town. Now living an average life in the
less-than-average state of South Carolina, attending the University of South
Carolina - Aiken.
Each week, he brings a unique perspective to college and college life,
using a biting sarcasm, and twisted wit that only a whiteboy from the drrrty
streets could possess. Word.
