Week Two
in Jerseyville.
Well the
upside is we’ve seen more Kevin. Same 12 damn questions. He’s
been popping on at odd times, so the barrage isn’t as torrential as it could
be, which must be somewhat of a relief for the guy.
Seems
like a select few board members have gotten the BIG CALL from the Philly
casting agency. Way to go! Though, if the rumors were true about
needed 3,000 extras, a lot of VAers got stuck in the pooper. I hope
the lucky few know what they are getting themselves into. Memorize the
phrase “QUIET PLEASE” and bring a book or a cribbage board, you are in for a
LOT of downtime.
I think
this is an historical week for board meltdowns. Surprisingly, they did
not involve any nutjob female Lee fans. Two pretty well known folks
have now been sent to the ViewAskew Bye Bye Place. If I ever get
around to putting together an unofficial FAQ for the WWWBoard, somewhere in
the top three I’ll have “Do not threaten anyone with bodily harm or death.
You will be banned, then summarily ridiculed. You will not be able to
defend yourself. If you get mad, go punch a door or something, then
come back and post. We’ll all be a lot happier and you’ll get to
stay.”
LOTS
more Fucking Newbies. I hate to say it, but I think they are driving
out some of my favorite regulars. LOTS of OTers are MIA and it makes
me SAD.
Vulgar
hits the shelves. People are FINALLY seeing what all the hooey is
about.
Now,
let’s look at my predictions from last week and see if I have a career in
the lucrative 1-900 industry:
1)
The influx of idiots will continue, much like the swallows of Capistrano.

Oh my.
Oh oh oh my. Didn’t school just start? Don’t these idiots have
homework to do?
2)
Occasional postings by Kevin, Vincent and Lynch will keep the Old Timers
happy, and send the FN into conniptions. The OT will take full
advantage of these fits to insult the shit out of the FN.

All
three have been accessible, pithy and fun. Well all except the
“unfortunate incident” Lynch had to deal with.
3)
Affleck will not post. People will ask constantly where he is and when
he’ll be posting.

No
Affleck. Surprising lack of women looking for him. Hope this
doesn’t mean he’s past his shelf-life.
4)
I predict TWO OT posters will resurface over the next two weeks.
People will rejoice.
