I must
say, it’s getting harder to write these columns every week.
Why?
BECAUSE NOTHING CHANGES AT THE WWWBOARD LATELY!!!
We’ve
had a lack of "Jersey Girl" updates.
The
influx of newbies is mind-numbing.
Almost
all my favorite posters have either disappeared, or make sporadic posts.
Sigh.
So what
can I talk about? I’m really stuck this week. My interview with
Andee went over about as well as Vulgar being shown in a church Bingo hall
during a game. I’m not particularly interesting, so there’s no point
in boring you with tales of my life.
I guess
this is going to be my “weak effort”. There’s just been no good board
fodder to rip into. People are either really busy or very well-behaved
this week. My biggest concern is the obvious disappearance of so many
board regulars. I am not going to name any, as I am not really
interested in starting a war on who is better or worse. It’s just that
for the first time, since I have been lurking, there have been MANY
conspicuous unexplained absences. Where did they all go? Did
they get jobs? Lives? Partners? Have they at last grown
weary of bashing teenage boys with no grasp on decorum or English grammar?
Shit, even the premier of Lee’s new train wreck isn’t enough to generate a
lot of discussion.
If you
want to know what I am talking about, just go to the
WWWBoard User Photo page. Do you ever see 98% of these people
anymore? Granted, I’m glad a few have found better things to do.
But by and large, these were the people that made this place such an amusing
site to waste a few hours on every week. And they up and left, without
so much as an explanation or a good-bye. I FEEL CHEAP!!!
Well
that’s all I have to talk about. I think I am going to do some
undercover work for next week’s column. Even I’m bored with
this already!!
