"Crazy
insane or Insane crazy?"
First
thing's first. Someone please smack around that piece of shit everyone BUT
me calls the president. That little moron's temper tantrum will get us all
killed. For the first time, I find myself siding with anti-war protests.
Every nation is taking a stand against war with Iraq right now, but little
diaper boy is unstoppable in his stupidity, saying, "Then the U.S. will go
to war by itself! That's a good idea, huh daddy?" as George Bush Sr. hangs
his head so that we can't read his lips enough to decipher exactly how much
he hates his son right now.
Hi. My
name's Kiss It. Not by birth, of course, but by internet. I figured I'd
write a little bit about the VA board this time around, as it was not only
the ground which we tore this strong-willed site out from, but it was also
(and still is) in my opinion the best message board to be found on the
internet. Even with the extreme climb in the numbers of newbies we receive
daily, it still holds true to giving so much back to it's fans for our
non-stop support.
Now this
doesn't go for everybody, though. Take the people who attack Kevin Smith for
casting one Jennifer Lopez in his new film Jersey Girl for instance.

I can
admit, I was upset with the casting of the glorified extra (Jennifer Lopez)
in Jersey Girl to the point of not even wanting to see the film. I think
Jennifer's acting is like when your having sex with someone who's really
boring in bed, and it's taking forever (job-sex is what it is). Unbearable.
On the other hand, I don't like JLA that much as an actress, but she
was amazing in Chasing Amy. I'm not saying Jennifer will accomplish this,
because let's face it, she won't, but Kevin must have something planned.
Wow, and the moral that's been dropped a thousand times has been dropped
once again. It's not our fucking movie, it's Kevin's. Unclench and move on.
The
other downers come in the form of people who never seem to leave the board
at all, and are the few, the obnoxious, and the constant. They are The
Shit-Starters. These gnat-like pests find proving how stupid they really
are, really funny. The hang-up here, is that they think others are laughing
along with them, when in reality we are all at home, shaking our heads at
how shitty 79% of the world's pre-teen population have turned out.
None of
these groups can hold a candle to the constant grudges being
created/continued between the regulars. I'm even in several grudges myself.
I found that information out the other day. I asked them for what reason,
but they never answered me, so I still do not know why. It's probably
because I'm a dick. That's the reason for everything else, it seems.
Even
with all the down-sides and horrible bi-products, the second we see the name
Kevin appear in red letters, we- The Loyals - remember why we all
stick around still. I really believe that if Kevin needed a favor, we would
do anything we could to help out (if you haven't already). It would not be
out of star worship, or even trying to climb your way up the
filmmaking/acting ladder of success without having to work at it. I may just
be speaking for myself here, but I would do it out of respect for someone
who's worked hard to get to where they are at, and if someone needed advice,
I would point anyone in Kevin's direction for use as a template for the
definition of work ethic.
The
board, with all it's flaws, is what it is. And that is better than a
reach-around. Way better.
